• Lab Carts:

  This is a fairly broad category. Laboratory carts are the sorts of carts most likely to be used in laboratories. Meaning, they can be divided into two more-or-less distinct categories: standard multi-level transportation carts mobile workstations. The former are usually two-layered (although a larger multilayered model also exists), steel-framed carts which are usually designed to assist in transporting lab compounds, tools or safety equipment. Because many research lab compounds can be volatile or dangerous, such carts are usually made with to be ESD static-resistant, flame-resistance and/or resistant to chemical corrosion. The latter essentially amount to mobile tables. They generally come with added features like drawers, storage racks, special compartments in which to house instruments, a special area set aside to keep a computer, a sliding surface on which to keep a keyboard and so on. • Stainless Steel Industrial Carts:

  Stainless steel utility carts are built with sturdiness primary in mind. Not only do our heavy duty carts possess impressive longevity and an ability to resist accumulated long-term wear and tear, but their steel design often makes them ideal for use in certain laboratory settings as well. Many of these models can be built to be flame and chemical-resistant. Often, they come equipped with drawers and utility racks, thus allowing workers to keep important tools near at hand. • Adjustable Height Carts:

  Adjustable height carts are some of our most popular and useful models. These carts typically have at least one bottom-level surface and one top-level one. You thus have the ability to manipulate the distance between the top and bottom layers, and we can custom-design the total amount of available lift to be anywhere from 6 to 16 inches. Height can be adjusted using either a manual hand crank or a hydraulic motor operated by buttons. Depending on the model you select, motors can have 1,000, 1,500, 2,000 or even 3,000-pound lift capacities. Adjustable height carts are especially useful if you need to transport objects of diverse size — some large and some small — across your workspace. Or if the things you’re transporting occasionally need to be moved up or down to be placed within someone’s reach.

Specialized Industrial Carts

In addition to the broad categories listed above, we also offer a few specialized designed for extremely specific purposes. These carts are not made according to the standard “platform-on-wheels” architecture of most carts. Here are a few of them:

• PCB Carts:

  The primary purpose of a PCB or Printed Circuit Board cart is to transport sensitive electronic components. Things like printed circuit boards. These carts contain special slots wherein such board can be inserted. Since they are made to be both flame-resistant and insulated against electricity, you can also use them to transport all kinds of sensitive and volatile chemicals. We also allow you to customize the carts’ height and color. As well as to add in tube steel frames and side panel routed guides for greater sturdiness.

• Peg Boards:

  Peg boards are large, vertically positioned panels on wheels which are studded with pegs. You can hang all manner of objects on these pegs. Sometimes, small metal baskets can be attached to the pegs to assist in carrying other kinds of objects. This type of cart ideal for transporting power tools like drills, wrenches and screwdrivers.

• Packaging Carts:
